Dr Emily Baines graduated from the University of Tasmania in 2018. After completing her internship at Launceston General Hospital, she relocated back to Queensland where she worked in rotational positions at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital for two years. She then worked as an emergency registrar at Redcliffe Hospital, Nambour Hospital and Sunshine Coast University Hospital over several years, including in a paediatric emergency department, and also holds a diploma of critical care medicine. She recently worked in general practice in Toowoomba for 6 months, prior to relocating back home to Brisbane. Emily enjoys managing a wide variety of presentations, and has a particular interest in paediatrics, women’s health, minor procedures and geriatric medicine. When not at work, Emily enjoys spending time at home with her husband and two young children, and trying to find time to maintain other hobbies including sewing, hiking and bread making.
Dr Emily Baines operates her own medical services business at Kedron Wavell Medical Centre.
