Our Services

Planning a trip abroad is exciting — and making sure your health is taken care of before you go is an important part of the journey.

The doctors at Kedron Wavell Medical Centre are equipped to provide pre-travel health consultations tailored to your destination, itinerary, and personal health needs. This includes advice on required and recommended vaccinations, malaria prevention, traveller’s diarrhoea management, altitude sickness prevention, and general travel health precautions.

Common travel vaccines are stocked in-clinic, with specialty vaccines arranged when needed. Some of the doctors at Kedron Wavell Medical Centre have completed the appropriate training to administer Yellow Fever vaccines. Please contact Reception for an updated list of providers.

It’s best to book your travel consultation six to eight weeks before departure to allow time for vaccine schedules — though last-minute travel plans can be accommodated too.
