Lauren completed her medical training in Geelong (VIC), graduating from Deakin Medical School (BMBS) in 2012. She initially worked in the regional town of Ballarat before moving back to her home town of Melbourne to work with the Obstetrics and Gynaecology team at Monash Health for 3 years. During this time, Lauren obtained her DRANZCOG qualification. Prior to commencing her GP training she did a further year of emergency medicine back in Ballarat. Lauren has additional qualifications in Children’s, Women’s and Sexual Health and can provide shared care as well as insert contraceptive implants and IUDs and prescribes PREP. 

When not working, Lauren enjoys spending time with her young family and is discovering the wonderful lifestyle of Brisbane, having just relocated from Melbourne.
